An example of a seminar
This is an example of an experiential Japanese culture seminar (3-hour course).

1. About kimono (30 minutes)
We will explain about kimonos while showing you the actual ones.
3. How to behave in a kimono (30 minutes)
You will practice how to walk, sit and maintain your posture while wearing a kimono.
5. Visiting the shrine (45 minutes)
You will visit a nearby shrine and learn how to pray there.
2. Dressing (50 minutes)
You will put on the kimono over the exercise clothes you have been wearing beforehand. Listen to the instructor's instructions and put on the kimono in the right order.
4. Rest
Washing facilities etc.
6. Photo shoot (10 minutes)
You will be photographed in a kimono.
